Columns

Smartsheet columns are similar to columns in a typical spreadsheet, but also have special properties that make using your sheet easier and more powerful.

Learn about different column types such as the primary column, text/number, contact list, date, dropdown list, checkbox, symbols, auto-number and system columns. Change the name, layout, and order of any column in your sheet. You can also show or hide columns and Lock columns you don’t want editors to change.
