
Create Documents

If you regularly create output using data from your Smartsheets, be sure to check out their Document Builder. It makes creating PDFs so quick and easy, not to mention guaranteeing error-free data, and you can even save them back to your Smartsheet so they’re easy to locate and download as and when you need to view them.
Here’s a quick run-through but click the video link below for more guidance.
📂 Open the Smartsheet and go to the row containing the data you want to use.
🛠️ Click on the “Generate Documents” option in the row menu
🏗️ Choose your template, this can be a new PDF template or one of your own pre-existing PDF templates which will already be mapped
🗺️ Map your data from Smartsheet to your document by dragging and dropping data column names from your sheet to the corresponding placeholders in your PDF template.
🎁 Generate the document by clicking “Generate” the resultant document will attach to the row in your sheet.
You can then review and save or share your PDFs as needed.
